Archie Hunnicutt Jr. Helping employ ex-inmates.
![]() A Man of Proverbs is a course designed to help ex-inmates return home and be productive in their communities. This program is designed to first, help the inmates become men and fathers. Mayim Hayim has developed a program that is sent all over the USA to inmates to help them understand what few have shared with them before, the truth of what it means to be responsible in our world today, as a man. This program is designed to be a life time program for men and is based on Israel's number one Rabbi, Rabbi Shalom Arush and his teachings on a peaceful home. Rabbi Shalom Arush, and the Garden of Peace a handbook for men gives them the understanding of how to treat others and to walk in their daily lives as productive and happy citizen that can change every circumstance that faces them by putting others first. The staff at Mayim Hayim has five volunteers, Gary and Diane Petigrew have over 15 years of experience as a chaplin and chaplins wife in the state of Texas. Gary and Diane were successful business owners for many years before turning their lives to helping the less fortunate in life. Elder Archie Hunnicutt a congregational leader for over nine years as been helping others over come lifes challenges. Elder Archie Hunnicutt has worked closely with many ministries and is called by many, the hardest working congregational leader in the ministry. Elder Hunnicutt has helped many ministries in television and as a one man public relations team. He has dedicated his life to others and continues to look for new ways of helping those less fortunate become successful in life. Elder Eliseo Pena, a retired government meat inspector for over 35 years has worked with TDCJ as a meat inspector and has been a leader in the Spanish community as a father and husband. Eliseo Pena has helped many find jobs in his 35 years as an inspector and continues to help others better themselves in life. Mayim Hayim has recently added John Dubina, a computer and web design expert to their volunteer staff and is a great asset in training up men in the work force. We currently provide services for (MIA) the Messianic Israel Alliance as their prison directors. We feel this is one one our greatest honors to be allowed to work with this great Ministry and reach men outside the state of Texas. The MIA has been working in the lives of men for many years. Established in 1999 and helping over 130 congregations and ministries world-wide. The MIA has been using the teachings of Rabbi Shalom Arush for the last several years to help men all around the world. (Messianic Israel Alliance http://www.messianicisrael.com/) We are looking for support from private and governmental grant providers to help us with this project of returning in-mates back to society as fathers and citizens. We are working with our local employer's to provide jobs and training for potential ex-inmates. We also have a desire ourselves, to hire as many in-mates as possible, as we continue to learn and grow our program for returning inmates back to society. Please contact us at: huniarh@gmail.com or 806-670-7136 and speak with the program director Elder Archie Hunnicutt. What is a Man?
Every man in his life has needed a teacher and every man has needed the help of a friend. We are going to walk together my friend and change the world one man at a time. Every lesson in life has taught us so much and now we have an opportunity to put all those things together and learn how to change everything in our future. No longer are we trapped by our mistakes, but we are on our way to trap every opportunity to change who we are today. Start being a man. Definition of a man: A man gives. He pampers others; listens to others; concedes his wants for the sake of others; is forgiving; doesn’t seek honor; doesn’t want to benefit from others; supports others; helps others and empathizes with others. A man can accept humiliation with love, and can also accept complaints and accusation without being offended or defensive. |
Please contact me if you would like me to come and share with your congregation the many insights the Torah has to teach us about your roots in the Olive tree. |
