My Answer to Judah's requirements by Fran Regan
08/15/2010
MY ANSWER TO KOL HA TOR
‘Tell me who you’re walking with and I’ll tell you who you are.’ PLEASE NOTE: There are those who will be convinced after reading my article that I am vehemently, violently, anti-Semitic. NOTHING could be further from the truth! There is nothing I want more than to see the reunification of the two houses of Israel. But true unification is not a ‘master/servant relationship’. It is based on equality as brothers from the words of Messiah Himself. In Matthew 23:8b, He states we “are all brothers”. Though a different mission and different purposes, brothers just the same and brothers connote equality, not subservience. We do not want ‘unity at any cost’. We want unity in Truth. Humbleness applies to us all; but submissiveness is to none but Yah or His anointed. And yes, as in the words of David, “…Yah Elohim of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be sovereign over Israel forever, for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler…” “And of all my sons, He has chosen my son Solomon….And I (Yah speaking) shall establish his reign forever, if he is strong to do My commands and My right-rulings as it is this day.” 1Chronicles 28:4,5,7 We know Solomon did not do Yah’s commands and right-rulings, but eventually turned away in his foreign wives. However, I have no trouble at all accepting Judah’s rulership when ordained by Yah and following Yah’s commands, including Messiah. In fact, one of the distinguishing Names of our Messiah is “Son of David” of the Tribe of Judah. I am simply ‘anti’ falsehoods, lies, and errors – wherever it is found. And they are everywhere – not just with the Rabbi’s and those of Kol HaTor. However, that is my focus in this article. Deception can be disguised in seemingly harmless groups and people. In fact, it wouldn’t be deception if it weren’t. Some of the right things are going to be said. But don’t be fooled. Make sure you dig deeper and read EVERYTHING. When you start running into contradictions, double-speak, and outright falsehoods – need I say it – BEWARE!!! (And yes, some of it may be misunderstandings – from both perspectives.) Judah is our brother. But there are those among her (like any group) whose only true desire is for control and power. We must be able to discern the difference between those who truly desire the reunification and the coming reign of our Messiah from Jerusalem and those who take advantage of our longing hearts to return to our (as well as their) land and our (as well as their) Elohim and use it for their own purposes. We are vulnerable in our repentance and longing, wanting so desperately to come back home. Our numbers are beginning to alarm those already in power, as they see it as a threat and must act quickly to get us under control in order to keep their power. I feel the call. I feel the draw. I am homesick and I want to go home. I want my family back – my whole family. But I also know it must be in the right way and at the right time. It must be under Yah’s power and control or under the one He ordains. The Rabbi’s claim of Scriptural authority is bogus. It is simply not there, as I will show. It is Yah Who has promised. Yah Who has spoken. Yah will do it. We must wait on Yah. Another note: I have taken Kol HaTor’s different articles about themselves from their website and answered them scripturally. Some of these articles for some reason have been pulled from the website. Hopefully, I have included enough that you will be able to understand and follow what was said and what I am answering. One last note: I do not claim to have all the answers. Could I have misunderstood and therefore be wrong on some of my views? Yes. I am always open to listen to anyone who has SCRIPTURAL (not Rabbinic) evidence that counters what I have said. It’s not about being right. It’s about Truth! That is my passion!! I have no desire to stop, undermine, or jeopardize any movement of the two houses coming together that is genuine. I do not want to interfere with Ephraim being able to come back to the land in the right time. (I want to come back.) If what is being done is motivated out of love for Messiah and a true desire for reconciliation as brothers, I don’t believe it will, as a kindred spirit will be recognized (in spite of any misunderstandings). If what is being done is not done out of love for Messiah and if returning Ephraim is not being viewed as an equal brother, it will not happen . My heart is for my Messiah – Yahusha HaMeshiach. Without Him, there is no reconciliation, as He IS the reconciliation. And that is my main concern with what I am seeing from Kol haTor. They are seemingly trying to reconcile the two houses without Messiah – and it can’t be done. Without Messiah, it is not genuine and is destined to fail. The history of Christianity in connection with the Jewish people, without question, is not good. There is a lot to repent of. Most of us in this movement, as we come to understand the Truth, no longer consider ourselves Christians – but neither are we Jewish. WE ARE ISRAEL! As the past cannot be changed, we all need to move on together, with repentant hearts, confessing the sins of our fathers, as a broken family becomes one again. Past sins, however, committed in the name of the Christian Jesus, do not justify our agreeing to never speak of, to leave out of any reconciliation, or to deny Yahusha of Nazareth – Messiah of ALL Israel, in order to pacify the Rabbi’s. At present, the true Messiah is not recognized by the majority of Christians OR Jews. If I seem hard on Jewish beliefs, it is only in connection with the Messiah. (I would be hard on Christians too.) I do understand the wrongs perpetrated on the Jews in His Name. They must come to understand it was not Him or even His true followers that committed these atrocities. Will this be easy? Probably not. Neither is it or has it been easy to disbelieve everything one has ever been taught or ever known as truth. We, who have come out of Christendom, have left many formerly cherished, long-held traditions behind in order to follow the Truth. Judah must also. Both houses have error and tradition we must come out of. With Yah’s strength, we can do it. May Yah bless our efforts to come to the Truth in Him! One Shepherd, one fold, one Truth HOME PAGE Page 3 Kol HaTor starts off by stating that they are a ‘positive action response’ and ‘main mouthpiece’ to the Hebraic Restoration Movement and that they have arisen from the core of the Hebraic Restoration movement. However, if you have a belief in Yahusha HaMesheiach, Kol HaTor is NOT positive. If the core of the Hebraic Movement (from which they say they came) is truly anti-Messiah; if Messiah is not in this movement, then neither should we be. They go on to say, “The Hebraic Restoration movement entails a developing core amongst pro-Jewish Christians and ex-Christians, who are dedicated religious Bible believers, towards personal, active Torah observance. They are possessed of an urge to ‘return’ to their Hebraic (Jewish) Roots – with many of them even wanting to physically ‘return’ to the Promised Land and/or convert to orthodox Judaism. This is all perfectly in line with what the Bible prophets and ancient Jewish Sages’ understood from the Scriptures and declared through their writings.” We should be able to see right from the beginning in their explanation of who they are, that we most definitely should NOT be listening to them or letting them speak for us who are of the true Hebraic Roots Movement. The true movement includes Messiah. Without Him, there is no purpose in it. Our roots ARE Hebraic, but like everything else, anything true is going to be counterfeited. Our roots are Hebraic – not Jewish for the most part. (Some obviously have roots in the Tribe of Judah, but not most.) Hebraic encompasses much more than just Judah or Jewish! But it certainly includes them also. To convert to Orthodox Judaism would be a tragedy of immense proportions, as it would require denial of Yahusha. (BEWARE: The Hebraic Roots movement is considered one of the most fertile recruiting fields for orthodoxy.) And this is the ultimate objective of Kol haTor, by their own admission. What I’m beginning to see is a restless uncomfortableness with us and our growing numbers by the Orthodox. Seemingly, they feel it’s time to take control. I refer you to the Scripture to make your decision on whom you should follow. First of all - NEVER DENY YOUR MESSIAH. Don’t let ANYONE tell you that you cannot speak of Him or teach in His Name. If you stand by this statement, you can’t go wrong and would be in very good company, as Yahusha’s apostles made a stand on this very issue. (Acts 5:14-42) Also, note the warning on turning your back on Yahusha, …. Hebrews 6:4-6 “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Set-apart Spirit, and have tasted the good Word of Elohim and the powers of the age to come, and fall away, to renew them again to repentance – having impaled for themselves the Son of Elohim again, and put Him to open shame.” Hebrews 10:28-29 “Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Moses dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think shall he deserve who has trampled the Son of Elohim underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favor?” Yet, Kol HaTor states that this is all “perfectly in line with what the Bible prophets and ancient Jewish Sages understood from the Scriptures and declared through their writings.” (that returning Israel would want to convert to orthodoxism) There is a BIG difference in following Yah’s instructions (Torah) and following the Rabbi’s instructions. (Oral and Traditions above the Written) The entire Bible points toward Messiah and obedience to Him, as does the sacrificial system in the Temple. How could denial of Him be ‘perfectly in line with what the Bible prophets understood’, who wrote of Him under the inspiration of the Ruach HaKodesh? The purpose of Kol Ha Tor, by their own words is to “…lay the foundations for reconciliation, as foreseen by ancient Bible Prophets, between these two greatly divided sectors of what seems to be the same nation.” Our foundation Stone is the Messiah Yahusha, yet they do not recognize Him, therefore, they do not have the true foundation upon which reconciliation can be built. “See, I am laying in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a settled foundation. He who trusts shall not hasten away.” Isaiah 28:16 “What shall we say then? That gentiles not following after righteousness, have obtained righteousness, even the righteousness of belief, but Israel following after the Torah of righteousness, has not arrived at the Torah of righteousness. Why? Because it was not of belief, but as by works of Torah. For they stumbled at the Stone of stumbling.” Romans 9:30-32 They cannot put in place what they do not have. It is Messiah Who tore down the barriers that separate us and through whom we are all made into one new man (Ephsians 2:14-16) Messiah will do this – not Kol haTor or any man. Therefore, most of their conclusions must be based on the writings of their ancient Jewish sages. Is Kol HaTor about Yah’s word or man’s? You will have to decide. Page 4, Homepage Kol Ha Tor asserts that the 10 Tribes were exiled among the nations because they “refused to accept the Divinely ordained spiritual leadership of Judah.” This is a totally incorrect assertion. Let’s look at 2Chronicles 10:1-19 “And Rehabam (Solomon’s son) went to Shekem for ALL Israel had gone to Shekem to set him up to reign. (not just Judah) “And Yarobam and ALL Israel came and spoke to Rehabam saying, ‘Your father made our yoke hard, and now, lighten the hard service of your father and his heavy yoke which he put on us, then we shall serve you.” And he said to them, ‘Come back to me after three days.” And the people went.”……….. V13 “And the Sovereign answered them harshly. Thus Sovereign Rehabam ignored the advice of the elders, and spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, “My father made your yoke heavy, but I, I add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I with scourges!” “So the Sovereign did not listen to the people, for the turn of events was from Elohim…” (v15)“And when all Israel saw that the sovereign did not listen to them, the people answered the sovereign, saying, “What portion have we in David? And we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. Every man to your mighty ones, O Israel! Now see to your own house, O David” So all Israel went to their tents.” “Thus Israel revolted against the house of David to this day.” Can you blame them? I don’t think Judah would have accepted this leadership under these conditions had roles been reversed (based on their very words in their capitalized response below). And, as stated in Scripture, this “turn of events was from Elohim”. Note also: 2Kings 17:18-23 “So Yah was very enraged with Israel and removed them from His presence – none was left but the tribe of Judah alone. Judah also, did not guard the commands of Yah their Elohim, but walked in the laws of Israel which they made. And Yah rejected all the seed of Israel and afflicted them, and gave them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them out from His presence. For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Yarobam son of Nebat sovereign. And Yarobam drove Israel from following Yah, and made them commit a great sin. And the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Yarobam which he did. They did not turn away from them, Until Yah removed Israel from His presence, as He spoke by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their land to Ashshur, as it is to this day.” So, why was Israel exiled and Who did it? Wasn’t it because of Israel’s rebellion against Yah’s commands and making their own? And was it not Yah who cast them out, tore them from the house of David, removed them from His presence? It was Yah’s doing because of Israel’s turning from His leadership – not Judah’s. If Kol HaTor is so well-versed in the prophets’ writings, why didn’t they see this? Let’s also look at how this all started. Was it initially Israel or Judah who rejected the Divinely ordained leadership of Yah? 1Kings 11:6-13 “Then Solomon did evil in the eyes of Yah, and did not follow Yah completely, like his father David. Then Solomon built a high place for Kemosh the abomination of Mo’ab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molek the abomination of the children of Ammom. And so he did for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and slaughtered to their mighty ones. Therefore, Yah, was enraged with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from Yah Elohim of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, And had commanded him concerning this word, not to go after other mighty ones. But he did not guard what Yah had commanded. And Yah said to Solomon, ‘Because you have done this, and have not guarded My covenant and My laws, which I have commanded you, I shall certainly tear the reign away from you and give it to your servant. Only, I do not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David. Out of the hand of your son I shall tear it. Only, I shall not tear away all the reign but give one tribe to your son for the sake of my servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen.” So, was Israel exiled because they refused to accept the divinely ordained leadership of Judah, when Judah had turned from Yah themselves? That doesn’t make sense. It was because of Yah’s love for David that even Judah was preserved – not any righteousness on their part - and certainly not because they had never left Covenant. They did. The whole tragedy started because of Judah’s unfaithfulness to the Divine Leadership of Yah, not because of Israel’s rejection of the Divinely ordained leadership of Judah. It was NOT due to Judah’s righteousness that they remained. Yah preserved them because of His love for David and Jerusalem. THIS WAS FROM YAH! If Kol HaTor does not even have such basic understanding from the Scriptures they clam to be so well-versed in, what else might they have wrong? *Kol HaTor likes to blame but rarely takes responsibility without making excuses that they feel justify their actions (or inactions). (see below). That is not taking responsibility. That is not true repentance. That’s the ‘blame game’ that we have seen from the very beginning. Yes, Judah needs to repent also. Yes, Judah needs their Messiah also. “There is none righteous, no not one.” (Romans 3:10) “All our righteousness is as filthy rags.” (Isaiah 64:6) For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of Yah.” (Romans 3:23) “For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have utterly betrayed Me, declares Yah. They have been untrue to Yah and said, ‘It is not He…” (Jeremiah 5:11,12a) “We all, like sheep, went astray, each one of us has turned to his own way. And Yah has laid on Him the crookedness of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 “But the Scripture has shut up ALL mankind under sin, that the promise by belief in Yahusha Messiah might be given to those who believe.” Galatians 3:22 What part of that does Kol HaTor or the Rabbi’s not understand? (I am aware, to a large degree, this is because they do not accept Yah’s authority, preferring their own commentary (Oral) over Yah’s (Brit Hadacha)). But what do you think about associating with and being members of any organization that does not accept Yah’s authority? When you do, you also are bowing down to an authority other than Yah’s. Page 5 of Home Page “The Jewish representation in the Kol HaTor Project therefore apologize on behalf of Judah and ask forgiveness for not having done a better job. Yes, we are guilty – *but guilty with an explanation” (see above): “If you were, God forbid, exiled, punched, beaten, stepped upon, and tortured, YOU TOO WOULD NOT BE IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE AND FOR REACHING OUT TO THOSE WHO REMIND YOU OF YOUR PERSECUTORS. THEN – WTH ASSIMILATION, ADOPTING STRANGE CULTURES – IN BRIEF: FACING AND DEALING WITH THE TEMPTATIONS OF VANISHING IN THE MELTING POTS OF VARIOUS SOCIEITES, the Jews have had a hard enough time holding onto their bare spiritual survival.” Judah was given the mission of preserving the Torah, the Commands, the feasts, the Sabbaths – Elohim’s instructions (Torah) to His people. It was their mission to bring this knowledge to the nations, as it was meant for everyone – not just Judah. Whereas, with Yah’s help they have preserved the above, they did not bring it to the nations, as Kol HaTor admitted. The 10 Tribes were given the mission of getting out the message of the Messiah and His love, His grace, His redemption, forgiveness and deliverance to all. Yes, it has been imperfectly and with much pagan influence but the message was taken to the four corners of the earth. We were/are two nations with two different purposes and missions. This was of Yah. The mission was not Judah’s alone. Judah was partially blind; so was Ephraim. This also was Yah’s doing. Ephraim (Christianity) has also had many, many martyrs down through history (including the forgotten ones of the Holocaust). Ephraim has also been mistreated when representing Elohim. Ephraim (Christians) have been beaten, imprisoned, tortured, fed to lions, burned at the stake, crucified, stepped upon, spit upon and persecuted. Ephraim is also in exile and has been assimilated to the point of losing their identity. YES, KOL HATOR, WE CAN UNDERSTAND. But that didn’t keep us from our mission. What do the scriptures (which the Rabbi’s say they know and represent) say? “Therefore, whatever you wish men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Torah and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you love those loving you, what reward have you?” “And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others?” Matthew 5:43-48 And, 1 John 4:20 “If someone says, “I love Elohim, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love Elohim whom he has not seen?” This cuts BOTH ways. “And we have this command from Him, that the one loving Elohim should love his brother too.” 1John 4:21 Romans 13:8 “Owe no one any matter except to love one another, for he who loves another has filled the Torah.” THE 10 TRIBERS MAY ALSO HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB OF LOVE AND FORGIVENESS AND THEREFORE FULFILLING OF TORAH! (even without seeking Torah!) “For when gentiles, who do not have the Torah, by nature do what is in the Torah, although not having the Torah, they are a Torah to themselves, who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or even excusing…” Romans 2:14-15 “So, if an uncircumcised one watches over the righteousnesses of the Torah, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned as circumcision? And the uncircumcised by nature, who perfects the Torah, shall judge you who notwithstanding letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the Torah!” Romans 2:26-27 “So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.” Matthew 23:28 Regarding “adopting tenets of Jewish Faith (like the Sabbath, Jewish Feast Days, etc.)” in Leviticus 23:1 and v 37, the feasts, which include the Sabbath, are called YAH’S appointed times – NOT Judah’s. They are YAH’S feasts – NOT Jewish feasts and they belong to ALL Yah’s people – NOT just Judah. It has been Judah’s mission to preserve these things and they have been good servants. But servants do not own the Master’s goods. And had Judah accomplished her G_d-given mission, they would not be thought of as ‘Jewish’ feasts, as all would be celebrating them in the Name of Yah. So instead of “adopting tenets of Jewish Faith”, Ephraim is actually coming home to where they belong – the one true faith (without man’s/Rabbinic additions). In spite of it all, Judah has not preserved the faith perfectly. There is error. There is tradition that takes precedence over the commandments of El. (Matthew 15:3,9) That is not to say all tradition is wrong. But much has been added in clear violation of G_d’s command not to add to His Word. Anything in conflict with Yah’s Words must go. (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Proverbs 30:6; Revelation 22:18,19) They have elevated the words of their sages to an equal standing with the Words of Yah. No man’s words can stand equal with Yah’s. What returning 10-Tribers need, what everyone needs, is the pure, unadulterated Word of Yah – not the writings of the sages and Rabbi’s. Both houses have a part of the Truth. In coming back together, each with their part, we will have the whole Truth. (Torah and Messiah) Judah has preserved the Torah, feasts, Sabbaths, etc., however, the Torah without the Messiah is nothing but legalism and empty words. Ephraim has preserved the Messiah, His love, Grace, Mercy, Redemption for all; yet the Messiah without the Torah is a false messiah. A Messiah divorced from Israel’s culture and heritage is a false Messiah, as He is of Israel and Israel is His people. The Rabbi’s are the descendents of the Pharisees. Refer to attachment on what the Messiah had to say about the Pharisees. Do you really want to put your eternal destiny in their hands, anymore than the Pope’s or some Pastor? Not me! Yes, we can learn from the Rabbi’s (however cautiously and with great discernment). The Rabbi’s also need to learn from us. ALL must have a humble spirit for Yah to speak to us and for us to work together. And Scripture tells us that our teacher, our leader is Messiah – NOT A Rabbi or the Pope or a Priest – or any man – only THE MAN! Matthew 23:8 “…for One is your Teacher, the Messiah and you are all brothers.” 1Timothy 2:5,6 “For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus (Yahusha HaMesiach) Who gave Himself a ransom for ALL…” (which I believe would include even the Rabbi’s, whether they like it or not) John 6:45 “It has been written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by Yah.’ Everyone, then, who has heard from the Father, and learned, comes to Me (Messiah)”, with 1John 2:27 “But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is not falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him.” Page 6 of Home Page “You who make your boast in the Torah, through the transgression of the Torah do you disrespect Elohim?” “For “The Name of Elohim is blasphemed among the gentiles because of you,” as it has been written.” Romans 2:23-24 “For he is not a Jew who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But a Jew is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.” Romans 2:28-29 “What then is the advantage of the Jew, or what is the value of the circumcision? Much in every way! Because firstly indeed, that they were entrusted with the Words of Elohim.” Romans 3:1-2 This, however, would also include the Words of Messiah in the Brit Hadacha, as Adoni Echad (John 17:20,21). However, Kol HaTor says it doesn’t recognize the authority of the Scriptures of the Brit Hadacha, just as much of Ephraim does not recognize the authority of the Torah. Herein is error (and rebellion) on both parts. But when part of the Truth is rejected, when part of the sight is obstructed, how good of a guide can you be to others? “Yah your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, according to all you asked of Yah your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of Yah my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die. And Yah said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good. I shall raise up for them a Prophet like you out of the mist of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words which He speaks in My Name; I require it of him.” Deuteronomy 18:15-19 “For He who Elohim has sent speaks the Words of Elohim, for Elohim does not give the Spirit by measure.” The Father loves the Son, and has given all into His hand. (not the Rabbi’s) He who believes in the Son possess everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.” John 3:34-36 (or “…I will require it of him” Deu. 18:19) We didn’t want to hear directly from El. We wanted to hear through Moses. Yah said this was good and He would continue this pattern and again raise up a Prophet like Moses, in whom He would put His Words. Just like they didn’t listen to Moses, neither did they listen even though One did rise from the dead. Luke 16:31 “But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither would they be persuaded even if one should rise from the dead.’” John 7:19 “Did not Moses give you the Torah? Yet not one of you does the Torah! Why do you seek to kill Me?” Genesis 49:10 states the scepter shall not turn aside from Judah nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of the peoples. The obedience of the people is NOT to a Rabbi. It is to Messiah (Shiloh), who is from the Tribe of Judah. “There is one Lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?” James 4:12 “For Yah is our Judge, Yah is our Lawgiver, Yah is our Sovereign, He saves us.” Isaiah 33:22 John 5:22 “For the Father judges no one, but has given all the judgment to the Son, that all should value the Son even as they value the Father. He who does not value the Son does not value the Father who sent Him.” Now who is the lawgiver – Judah (or more realistically the Rabbi’s) or Yah, Shiloh, Messiah? Jeremiah 3:23 “Truly, delusion comes from the high hills, the noisy throng on the mountains. Truly, in Yah our Elohim is the deliverance of Israel.” Yah is our Lawgiver. Yah is our deliverance. John 10:30 “I and My Father are One.” Page 7 of Home Page We want to live in the land because it is our land, too. It is home. We are coming home. We don’t need Judah’s or the Rabbi’s permission; we need Yah’s. 2Chronicles 6:36-39 UNIFYING FACTORS Page 1 ‘Many great oratories have been written about the power of being able to unite on factors that are agreed upon, rather than allowing the division wrought by our disagreements.’ True, and certainly admirable where possible, yet there are things that must never be compromised – the greatest of which is Messiah Yahusha! “The division that has reigned in the 12-Tribed House of Israel since the split in the Nation of G-d some 2800 years ago into two opposing factions, Judah and Israel, was the direct cause of G-d removing His Shechinah Presence from us. His Shechinah will only return when the striving factions ….have made Peace with each other.” This isn’t exactly true. Jeremiah tells us why in chapter 7:8-10 “See, you are trusting in false words, which do not profit – Stealing, murdering, and committing adultery, and swearing falsely, and burning incense to Ba’al, and walking after other mighty ones you have not known.’ ‘And you came and stood before Me in this house which is called by My Name, and said, ‘We have been delivered’ - in order to do all these abominations!” This was addressed to the whole house of Israel – yes, Judah also. This is why His presence left. This is also why the split happened – disobedience and rebellion against Yah! (on the part of both houses) Since Kol HaTor has blamed Ephraim for the split (for not accepting their leadership), they are now by implication, blaming Ephraim for G-d’s presence leaving, with the only solution being for Ephraim to go back under their leadership. We have seen, by Scripture, this is not what happened. In fact, let’s look at Matthew 13: 37-39 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her! How often I wished to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you would not! See! Your house is left to you laid waste (desolate), [and why is this?] For I say to you, from now on you shall by no means see Me, until you say, ‘Blessed is He (Yahusha) who is coming in the Name of Yah!’” ‘to see Him’ would be to see His glory (shekinah glory)But until Kol HaTor, until the Rabbi’s, until all of Judah, until all of Israel can say and therefore recognize Him (Messiah Yahusha– the One coming in the Name of Yah), His glory will not return. That is what Scripture says. It is no more Ephraim’s doing than Judah’s and it will take them both proclaiming Yahusha Messiah. Kol HaTor’s definition of unity, when all is said and done, is based on Rabbinic authority and control. However, “Unity is not hierarchy. Unity is equality. Servanthood towards each other and each soul in the Community of Yah is equal. Unity is a product of Righteousness and the thirst for Righteousness is what unites Yah’s people. Messiah taught: ‘Let it not be thus among you, but whoever among you desires to be great, let him be a servant to you.’ (Matt. 21:26) AND; ‘And you should not be called leaders, because one is your leader, the Mashiyach. But he who is greatest among you, let him be a servant to you”. (Matt. 23:10,11) Aramaic English New Testament, page 1003 Page 2 Of the 7 so-called unifying factors, I can agree with all but #6, which states: “Our respect for His appointed Guardians of His Torah – the spiritual leaders of Judah, the Rabbinic Order. (Note: this ‘respect’ does not suggest blind subjection, but rather rational consideration of their vast sources of knowledge and experience. It does explicitly exclude the general condemning spirit of anti-Rabbinism and anti-Judaism that exits amongst a large section of 10-Israel)” This so-called “condemning spirit of anti-Rabbinism” is in most cases simply discernment, knowledge of the whole scriptures and following our Messiah’s Commands. Even though Kol HaTor tries to imply anti-Rabbinism is the same as anti-semitism, this is definitely NOT the case. There is a world of difference. However, you will see this subtly throughout their literature. 1John 2:26-27 “I have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray. But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him.” And …… Matthew 16:12 “Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” Rabbi’s are descendents of their fathers, the Pharisees. Our Messiah is warning us about their teachings. Are we listening? Page 3 The paragraph on the Jew’s obligation to Ephraim seems to imply Judah (more appropriately the Rabbi’s) must just ‘put up’ with our idea of Messiah, must humor us, even though they know better. (For a while at least until their obvious goal of our total conversion to orthodoxy and Rabbinic control is obtained.) Matthew 22:29 “And Yahusha answering, said to them, ‘You go astray, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of Elohim.” To agree to refuse to talk of our Messiah is to relegate Him to obscurity, and is tantamount to denying Him. It is certainly disobedience to and rebellion against what our Messiah directly told us to do. There is no peace; there is no unity apart from Messiah. Man alone, no matter how sincere and dedicated, or wise cannot accomplish this. Romans 2:11-12 “For there is no partiality with Elohim. For as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah.” Yahusha calls the Pharisees/Rabbi’s “blind” or “blind guides” five (5) times (Matthew 23: 16,17,19,24,26) Five representing “grace” and “Torah” is an interesting number of times they were called blind. In fact, in Matthew 23:8, Yahusha tells us not to be called Rabbi – “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’, for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers.” However “the Rabbi’s” say we must come to them in spite of what the Scriptures say. We have One Teacher, One Mediator Who teaches us and Who gives us “…the Set-Apart Spirit whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.” Acts. 5:32 If you don’t obey Elohim, then maybe you need to go to the Rabbi’s, for you won’t be given the Spirit – But beware, in Matthew 15:13-14, speaking of the Pharisees/Rabbi’s, “…Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be uprooted. ‘Leave them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both shall fall into a ditch.” (Matt. 15:14) ------- In Reunification of the Two-Houses, it states the Jews’ faith is the correct faith (however, without Messiah, it is not correct). It states Ephraim should return to Rabbinic authority. Why not just stay under the Pope if we are going to give ourselves over to a man and his interpretation of Scriptures? The Rabbi’s have added to Scripture. The Pope has taken away. Is there much difference? Our authority is Messiah – not a man, no matter how learned. Our Messiah warned us to beware the teachings of the Pharisees (modern day orthodox Rabbi’s). I will heed His warning. The Pope and the system of Catholicism is one ditch. Rabbinic authority and orthodoxy is simply another ditch. We are to walk the narrow way between them, loving them and being a light to them – both of them. Scriptures state that Messiah has been/is a stumbling block to both houses. Matthew 15:12 “Then His taught ones (you know, the ‘orthodox’, Jewish Apostles) came and said to Him, ‘Do You know that the Pharisees stumbled when they heard this word?” “Yah of hosts, Him you shall set apart. Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.” (not Rabbinic or Popish authority) “And He shall be for a set-apart place, but a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.” Isaiah 8:13-14 Ecclesciastes 12:13 “Fear Elohim and guard His commands, (not something a man has added, no matter how much he may be esteemed or how wise he may be considered) for this applies to all mankind!” (I believe ALL mankind would include even the Rabbi’s) Deuteronomy 8:2 “And you shall remember that Yah your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His commands or not. And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of Yah.” (not from the mouth of a Rabbi) These Words Yah spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a loud voice, and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.” Deu 5:22 If He wrote them, they are not oral. If “He added no more”, we have it all. Would Elohim actually give His Word into the hands of men to pass on from one generation to the next without a standard or system of checks and balances to ensure accuracy? No. His Word was so precious that He Himself spoke and wrote it for all. Some of the Oral Torah may be good commentary from men with great insight; good for study for the mature in the faith but even then always with great discernment – for it is not the Word of Yah and does include error. Man’s word can never stand on an equal basis with Yah’s. Isaiah 63:16-19 “For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not recognize us. You, O Yah, are our Father, our Redeemer (another name for Messiah) – “Your Name is from of old. O Yah, why do You make us stray from Your ways, and harden our heart from Your fear? Turn back, for the sake of Your servants, the tribes (plural) of Your inheritance. For a little while Your set-apart people possessed it – our adversaries have trodden down Your set-apart place. We have become like those over whom You never ruled – Your Name is not called on them!” Jeremiah 3:6, 7,10,11 And Yah said to me,….. “Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done?…” And after she had done all these, I said ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it…….And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with all her heart, but falsely, declares Yah. And Yah said to me “Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.” And we are to return to the Rabbi’s? Unifying Factors, Page 3 & 4, ‘Reunification of the 2-Houses of Israel without proselytizing’ again emphasizes that returning Israel is not to influence Judah regarding Messiah but Judah (or the Rabbi’s) can certainly influence returning Israel to turn to Rabbinic authority. That is what Kol HaTor is really all about – Rabbinic control. Yet they claim to be the voice of returning 10-Tribers? Only if we allow it. Scriptures tell us that “without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (forgiveness) of sins.” The Torah (Written Word) cannot bleed. It cannot die. The Oral certainly can’t. The Word had to be made flesh and dwell among us to accomplish this – and He did! Hebrews 9:22 “And, according to Torah, almost all is cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” With Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your lives, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the life.” In speaking of the true Messiah (who was Jewish and Torah observant) we are not trying to convert to Christianity (or have our Jewish brethren abandon their faith). We are not setting forth the lawless, pork-eating, Sabbath breaking Christian Jesus. We are simply speaking of the One to Whom the Torah points, in other words, speaking Torah, speaking the Truth, which must be done in love. Messiah is Truth. Messiah is Torah. Messiah is love. To speak of Him is speak of Torah - not to ‘force’ anyone into anything. That is always between the individual and Elohim. Yahusha was more Torah observant than any Rabbi has ever been able to be, as He WAS the Torah. And they don’t want us to speak of Him? To be anti-Messiah, one is also anti-Torah. It can be no other way as they are one and the same. To be anti-Torah, one is also anti-Messiah. It can be no other way as they are one and the same. PROSPECTUS Page 2 “The Kol HaTor Vision strives to emphasize to the re-awaking 10-Israel side, to inform them of their responsibility in complying with the ‘correct Approach’ [according to who?] toward Judah, its spiritual leaders and the Land. It entails educating (on whose authority?) prospective returning 10-Tribers on the do’s and don’ts which will promote the required Peace Setting, rather than further estranging the two factions due to proselytizing and rejection of Rabbinic authority.” Notice it’s rejection of Messiah and acceptance of Rabbinic authority/control that must be adhered to. Are these terms acceptable to you? Also note, all the ‘coming around’ and ‘re-educating’ is for the returning 10-Tribers. The Rabbi’s evidently don’t think they have any need to repent or to learn. Do you agree? Again, reconciliation is a two-way street. Understanding each other is an admirable goal and must occur on BOTH accounts, but understanding does not mean acquiesence. The two reasons given for the estrangement (above) are two reasons that, based on Scripture, cannot be adhered to by true Israelites (those who recognize and follow Messiah Yahusha). Did the Messiah, when He walked the earth, comply with the teachings of the religious authorities? Is not He our Rabbi? Is not He our example? Is He not the One we follow? In fact, who should we be forming relationships with – the Rabbi’s or the man on the street? Who did Yahusha go to? Based on the Words of Yahusha, I cannot submit to Rabbinic authority. I would give a Rabbi the same respect I would give any person but I could not esteem him as a head over me any more than I would the pope. I have differences on what the ‘correct approach’ is, however. Kol HaTor considers not speaking of Messiah as the ‘correct approach.’ Kol HaTor considers putting Rabbinic “wisdom” before Messiah’s Words as the ‘correct approach’. How about you? Jeremiah 3:18 states “In those days the house of Judah shall go to the house of Israel and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers.” “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3 Be careful who you associate with. If you align yourself with Kol HaTor, then you are agreeing to everything they stand for. Make sure you do. Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future. We go together, side by side, as brothers - not one under the authority of or submissive to the other. Our Messiah tells us Himself in Matthew 23:8 that we are ALL BROTHERS. Again, who do we listen to?! Judah deserves our respect – and our love. They are our brothers. They are our family. They are the ones already in the land and therefore, we do need their cooperation and should listen to them as they have gone before us – but not in issues pertaining to our belief in Messiah. Cooperation and love can only take place when both parties are involved and are more concerned about the other and the ultimate goal than themselves. Both houses are G_d’s chosen. We should each respect the other and the missions given us. One is not above the other – that is essential for Judah to understand for peace and reconciliation to occur. We have to work together – side by side – as the brothers we are. One reason for this is: “A taught one is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the taught one to become like his teacher and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Be’elzebul, how much more those of his household! Therefore, do not fear them!” Matthew 10:24-26a These are the words of Messiah. A taught one is not above his teacher rather he is submissive to him, spending his life trying to imitate or be like him. (Matt. 10:24,25 with Matt. 23:8,10) This means that to submit to Rabbinic authority, there would NEVER be equality between us as brothers. Again, I say, we are brothers. We go back together – side by side. If we can never go beyond our “Rabbi” or “Teacher” but simply hope to be like him, and each disciple’s goal, object, and loyalty is to imitate their teacher and be as much like him as they can be – then how would you interpret Messiah words in Matthew 6:24, “No one is able to serve two masters, for either he shall hate the one and love the other, or else he shall cleave to the one and despise the other. You are not able to serve Elohim and mammon.” “And the Pharisees (modern orthodox Rabbi’s) who loved silver, also heard all this, and were sneering at Him,” Luke 16:14 “Call no man Rabbi…” The principle holds as one could argue that the Rabbinic system is a mammon system, as worldly as is Christianity. Who will you serve? You can’t have it both ways. To submit to Rabbinic authority, to put a man between you and the Almighty, also seems to me to be a form of idolatry, as it puts man in the place of El. It is Yah we should spend our lives trying to imitate – not a man. PROSPECTUS, Page 4 states that the return of the Israelites to the land of Israel is in the hands of the Rabbinic authorities. I beg to differ. It is ultimately in Elohim’s Hands. He who scattered, will re-gather. If Yah has spoken it, it will be done. No man can reverse it – or stop it. Yah will do this. No man can accomplish this great undertaking. No man will steal Yah’s glory. Yah will not share His glory with another. Micah 2:12,13 “I will surely assemble, Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Botzrah, As a flock in the midst of their pasture; They will throng with people. He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. And their King passes on before them, With the Lord at their head.” (NOT a Rabbi) “I am Yah, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” Isaiah 42:8 Page 4 also talks of damage done by rejection of Rabbinic authority. Damage to who? There would be much more damage done if we were foolish enough to accept Rabbinic authority over us instead of Messiah’s. As Peter once stated, “We have to obey Elohim rather than man.” Acts 5:29 This movement is NOT about the Rabbi’s but so much greater than them - about the return of BOTH houses to THEIR land? By Kol HaTor stating that they do not accept the authority of the N.T. and that they do not recognize the Messiah Yahusha – on those grounds alone, I could not support them nor be a part of them nor let them speak for me. They will have to come to understand some truths they, as of yet, do not, for there to be cooperation with and support of their vision. Truth cannot be compromised. If we agree to never speak of our Messiah, how will that ever come about? You will say, Yah will open their eyes when He is ready. Yah will do it. Yes, but He also told us to go into all the world with the Besorah. He will also re-gather His sheep – all of them – either with (in spite of them) and most probably without Kol HaTor’s help. They are setting all the rules and they are not playing from a level playing field. They state they don’t accept N.T. authority and then use it, quote it, when it serves their purposes to make a point. Can you see anything wrong with this picture? Who you associate with determines your future. It determines who you become. The Rabbi’s have as much “coming around” and learning to do as we. But to be teachable, one must have a humble spirit, as they themselves state (but directed only towards the 10-Tribers). Now some would say that I am arrogant and out of line, just to make this statement. However, Scriptures state we are to be mature and discerning. Malachi 3:18 “Then you shall again see the difference (discern) between the righteous and the wrong, between one who serves Elohim and one who does not serve Him.” Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food is for the mature whose senses have been trained by practice to discern both good and evil.” If we cannot discern for ourselves through the Scriptures, we are simply mindless pawns in the hands of those in power. Is that what Yah had in mind for His people? To be mindless pawns who couldn’t (or weren’t allowed to) think for themselves, to study for themselves or know anything at all worth knowing without religious authority? In fact, we are told we are a ‘kingdom of priests’. It is the job of a priest to disseminate and teach the Word. Do you really believe that Yah blesses and talks with any man who is so haughty to believe that Yah has to listen to them? Do you really? Yet, that is exactly what Rabbi’s believe – “Not from heaven” and “incline towards the majority.” I consider this blasphemous and I don’t want to be associated with it. That’s as far as I need to go until THEY repent. As we say, love the sinner but hate the sin. It applies both ways – 10-Tribers and Judah. We’re all sinners. 2 Chronicles 6:36 “When they sin against you – for there is no one who does not sin…” (Solomon speaking) Would “no one” include the Rabbi’s? And “sin”, according to 1John 3:4, “is lawlessness” or Torahlessness. To say one never left covenant is to say one never sinned. What do the scriptures say? Bottom-line, Kol HaTor is stating that we (returning Ephraim) have to eventually and ultimately believe as they do and convert to Judaism but that they will not even consider listening to anything we have to say. This is double-speak, as they stated earlier one of the precepts is for Judah (or really the Rabbi’s) not to demand the renouncing of Messiah Yahusha to returning 10-Tribers, but then they turn around and say ultimately for peace and reunification, we must convert. Well, which is it? Does this sound like anyone who is truly interested in reconciliation? It sounds like fear to me. It sounds like jealousy – which is what the Scriptures predict. If we go under their authority, what do they have to be jealous of? They’re noticing us; our numbers have grown and are continuing to grow. Fear and jealousy is the only reason they are forming Kol HaTor. To be a part of Kol HaTor, I believe, is to oppose the Word of God. I will not be a part of it. In the name of peace and unity, an awful lot of evil can be done. Beware! You do NOT want peace at any price. PROSPECTUS, Page 6 They speak of unity and in the same breath they tell Ephraim to keep Messiah to herself. This is impossible. Acts 4:20 “For it is impossible for us not to speak of what we saw and heard.” V19 “But Peter and John answering them, (Pharisees/Rabbi’s) said, ‘Whether it is right in the sight of Elohim to listen to you more than to Elohim, you judge.’” Matthew 23:38-39 “See! Your house is left to you laid waste, for I say to you, from now on you shall by no means see Me, until you say, ‘Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of Yah.!” Yah shall not return until His followers believe what He said here, and do it! Psalms 118:26 “Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of Yah!” For Messiah to come, the Rabbi’s, are going to have to recognize who He is. By agreeing not to mention Messiah to them, what are we doing? In one breath, we are stating we want Messiah to come and then by our actions, we put Him off. Don’t forget - the deceiver is very clever. The modern orthodox Rabbi’s are descendents of the Pharisees. Who did Messiah say was their father? Remember, like the father, like the son. John 8:44a “You are of your father, the devil, and the desires of your father you wish to do…” 8:47 “He who is of Elohim hears the Words of Elohim, therefore you do not hear because you are not of Elohim.” Does the devil want Yahusha Messiah to come? In fact, I think he’s doing everything he can to stop it and using whoever will allow it. If one denies Messiah and teaches others so, they are definitely NOT doing Yah’s work. And if not Yah’s, then whose? Who you associate with determines your destiny and eventually becomes who you are. Page 7 The facilities, assistance, advice and guidance from Kol HaTor is not good for those who have belief in Messiah. We do not need a Rabbi. We need The Rabbi. RECONCILIATION GUIDELINES Page 1 The first paragraph rightly depicts Messiah as Jewish. (The New Testament (whose authority is not recognized) and history is used to confirm this.)) It makes you wonder why they ever rejected Him. However, He did NOT confirm the authority of the Rabbi’s or the Oral Torah. Quite the opposite! That is precisely what He opposed (their traditions in the Oral Torah which conflicted with El’s Torah), which is why they had him killed. The Oral Torah has been described as commentary on the Written. That would be one thing. However, instead of simply commentary, the Rabbi’s have elevated their words (words of men) to be equal with El’s. This is blasphemous. In fact, Yah Himself, through the Messiah, gave us the commentary on Torah through his Renewed Covenant. However, Yah’s commentary is rejected in favor of their own. “But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.” Matt. 15:9 The Rabbi (Feld) (co-founder of Kol haTor) seems to be in the process of (“taking the trouble”) of rewriting the N.T. according to his ‘Rabbinic wisdom’ of course, to do away with any negative connotation which the Messiah spoke against them. Not to accept his interpretation would be “total ignorance” of his wisdom. Because Christianity has “total ignorance of Rabbinic wisdom”, they can’t possibly understand the N.T. but have interpreted it as anti-Jewish. It is not Rabbinic wisdom we need. It is Yah’s wisdom given in His Word. Again, there is a world of difference between anti-Jewish and anti-Rabbinic, even though Kol HaTor tries to blend the two. (See this in their power point presentation, as well as some not so subtle claims which show blatantly their real agenda.) Regrettably, much of the Christian world IS anti-semantic and it is because of ignorance – not of Rabbinic wisdom, but of understanding and interpreting the Word of God correctly. Some of the lack of understanding is due to the ignorance of the Jewish culture and language and time period. And that is precisely our job now. To open their eyes to the Truth as Yah is giving us the grace and the light to do it. However, as the old saying goes, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” RECONCILIATION GUIDELINES, Page 2 They speak of a trend “since the sixties of small unrelated groups of individualist Bible student and thinkers extricating themselves from the Church to return to their Hebrew Roots by converting to Judaism and returning to the land.” Converting to Judaism is NOT returning to our Hebraic Roots. It is denying them. (But they have once again exposed the real reason for their existence.) Messiah is our Root. “I Am the Root and Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16 “Remember, you do not bear the Root, but the Root bears you!” Romans 11:18b “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the gentiles shall seek, and His rest shall be esteem.” Isaiah 11:10 “And it shall be in that day that Yah sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left…..” Isaiah 11:11 “And He shall raise a banner (refer to vs 10 as to Who is the banner) for the nations and gather the outcasts of Israel and assemble the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. And the envy of Ephraim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Judah be cut off. Ephraim shall not envy Judah and Judah not trouble Ephraim” Isaiah 11:12-13 Who will do this? Kol HaTor, the Rabbi’s or Messiah, our Root? What are our Roots to which we are returning? Judaism or Messiah, who was slain from the foundation of the world? For Jews to convert to Messianism, they state, is to go against the Divine Mandate. Simply untrue! Messiah Yahusha lived Torah, embodied Torah, WAS Torah and was Jewish! How could believing in and emulating the Divine Messiah (Torah) from the Tribe of Judah be against the Divine Mandate? Now there is a world of difference between the pagan, lawless ‘Jesus’ who ate pork, did not keep the Sabbath or the feasts, in other words did not keep Torah. This is the blindness of the ‘church’ or Ephraim. But if the Rabbi’s can see their Messiah in the Torah, they should be able to see Him in Yahusha the Nazarene. ‘The Truth is out there’ and is available for ANYONE who truly wants it. Is Kol haTor really about Truth or retaining power and control? By their own words, He was Jewish and kept the law “until His last day on earth”. The whole purpose of rearranging the calendar, slightly changing dates and meanings of feast days was to deny Yahusha as Messiah. Many such things they have done. Even today, if one believed in one of the false so-called messiah’s,(i.e., Bar Kochva, Mendel Sneerson) they can still enter the land. It is only belief in the One True Messiah that will keep you out. Ever wonder about that?!
