My Answer to Judah's requirements Part II by Fran Regan

RECONCILIATION GUIDELINES, Page 3
“Judah, however, has never been rejected and therefore does not need the Covenantal reconciliation without which 10-Israel would be doomed for eternity.” Is this maybe reverse replacement theology? “…for unless they have returned to Judaism fully by conversion, they mostly are still bound by some of the many pagan infected principles from which they are busy extricating themselves.” Kol HaTor is here speaking of “even the furthest advanced Hebraic Messianic Group in the Return to their Roots today…” How does this fit with their proclamation of “If you are Jewish – to undertake not to insist that 10-Tribers deny their Messiah, as a pre-condition to reconciliation.” In Numbers 23:19, it states, “El is not a man, to lie; nor a son of man, to repent! Has He said, and would He not do it; or spoken, and would not confirm it?” Is Judah part of mankind? Then, according to Yah, Himself, only Yah does not lie or need to repent! Any ‘son of man’ (including Judah) does need to. Again, depends upon who you listen to. Also, Page 2 of Reconciliation, Updated – “He (Messiah) did not come for the House of Judah, who had not been cut off from Covenant relationship and who needs to practice ongoing teshuvah only.” Based on Scripture, I reject the idea that there are two ways of salvation – one for the Jew and another for everyone else. Based on Scripture, I reject the idea that there is a people (Judah or anyone else) so righteous and sinless that they do not need salvation/deliverance; that do not need a Saviour/Redeemer. Based on Scripture, (many of which I have already shown) I reject the idea that Judah has never broken covenantal relationship (or sinned) and does not need to repent or return to the Truth. [Isaiah 3:8-9; Jeremiah 23:11-15; Ezekiel 16:51-59] Also: In 2Chronicles 6:36-39, Solomon, of the Tribe of Judah, David’s son, is speaking. He is speaking to Abba for all Israel, who is under his authority at that time, after the completion of the first Temple. “When they sin (sin is transgression of the Torah) against You – for there is no one who does not sin (how many? Did he say ‘no one’? Would that include Judah? Did Solomon sin? Is Solomon of Judah? Hmmmm?) and You become enraged with them and give them to the enemy, (has Judah down through history been given to the enemy, as well as Ephraim?) and they take them captive to a land far or near, and they shall turn back unto their heart (‘turn back’ or ‘repent’? But wait! NO! Judah doesn’t need to repent. What on earth is Solomon talking about?) in the land where they have been taken captive, and shall turn (here we go repenting again. Can’t be right!) and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying ‘We have sinned (remember sin is the transgression of the Torah which Judah has never done), we have acted crookedly, and have done wrong’ (nothing to repent of?), and when they return to You (had to have left to return) with all their heart and with all their being in the land of their captivity, and they shall pray toward their land which You gave to their fathers, and the city which You have chosen and toward the House which I have built for Your Name, then shall You hear from the heavens, Your dwelling place, their prayers and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive Your people who have sinned against You? (Is Judah Yah’s people? Then they have sinned against Yah or left Covenant and need to repent/return) For Yah to hear their prayers, they must repent. If they feel no need to repent, does Yah hear their prayers? Are the Rabbi’s wiser than the wisest man who ever lived? “The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, engraved with the point of a diamond on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars. While their children remember their altars and their Asherim by the spreading trees on the high hills. And you, even of yourself, shall let go of your inheritance which I gave you. And I shall make you serve your enemies in a land which you have not known, for you have kindled a fire in My displeasure which burns forever.” Jeremiah 17: 1-2,4 2 Chronicles 7:14 – Again, Solomon speaking: “and My people upon whom My Name is called, (Judah also) shall humble themselves, (Rabbi’s included if they consider themselves Yah’s people) and pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, (evil ways would be ‘breaking/leaving Covenant) then I shall hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin (transgression of/breaking His Covenant) and heal their land.” Does the land need healing today? Maybe it’s a sign that the Rabbi’s (all Israel actually but definitely including the Rabbi’s) have not humbled themselves before the Almighty, seeking Him with all their hearts and beings, seeking His face, and renouncing their evil (Torahlessness) ways. Yah dwells with and hears the contrite in spirit (humble). “For thus declares the high and exalted One who dwells forever, whose Name is set-apart, ‘I dwell in the high and set-apart place, with him who has a bruised and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of bruised ones.” Isaiah 57:15 “Circumcise yourselves unto Yah, and take away the foreskins of your hearts, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest My wrath come forth like fire and burn, with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.” Jeremiah 4:4 “For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only evil before Me, from their youth…..” “ because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah which they have done to provoke Me –….. they, have turned their back to Me and not their face….they did not listen to receive instruction….” Jeremiah 32:30,32,33 “For the children of Judah have done what is evil in My eyes,” declares Yah. ‘They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My Name to defile it.” Jeremiah 7:30 2Chronicles 29:6- King Hizqiyahu of Judah speaking to the people of Judah… “…For our fathers have trespassed and have done evil in the eyes of Yah our Elohim, and have forsaken Him, and have turned their faces away from the Dwelling Place of Yah, and have given their backs. And they have shut the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and they have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the set-apart place to the Elohim of Israel. Therefore the wrath of Yah fell upon Judah and Jerusalem and He has give them up for a trembling, for an astonishment, and for a hissing, as you see with your eyes. V21 “And they brought….for a sin offering for the reign, for the set-apart place, and for Judah.” Yes, most definitely, the 10-tribes were doing evil in the eyes of Yah and forsaking Him. But, just as the Prodigal Son, we are beginning to recognize and admit our error. It is Judah that Kol haTor states has never left covenant, therefore, does not need to repent or return. Thus, my emphasis on Judah. [“I never transgressed your commandments at any time.” Can you see the elder son of Prodigal fame here?] How do you read the Scriptures? Do you agree with Kol haTor? Judah HAS to recognize her failures and need for repentance also. As Kol HaTor themselves admit, it takes a humble spirit to be teachable, to learn and to hear Yah’s voice. Yet, the Rabbi’s do not believe that they have to listen to Yah but rather Yah must listen to them. Does this sound like a humble spirit to you? Do you really think Yah would speak to such a one? Do you really? If Yah does not speak to them should we be listening to them? Romans 3:19-31 “And we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those who are in the Torah, so that every mouth might be stopped, and all the world come under judgment before Elohim. Therefore by works of Torah no flesh shall be declared right before Him for by the Torah is the knowledge of sin. (Yet they say they have not sinned. What is the purpose of Torah?) But now, apart from the Torah a righteousness of Elohim has been revealed, being witnessed by the Torah and the Prophets and the righteousness of Elohim is through belief in Yahusha Messiah to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim……. (how many?) “For as you also (Israel/10-Tribers) at one time disobeyed Elohim, but now have obtained compassion through their (Judah’s) disobedience. So also these (Judah) have now disobeyed, that through the compassion shown you (Ephraim) they also (Judah) might obtain compassion. For Elohim has shut them ALL (both houses) up to disobedience, in order to have compassion on ALL. Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways!” Romans 11:30-33 ALL are or have been disobedient so Yah can have compassion on all. Speaking for myself, I need His compassion. I need His forgiveness. I freely admit it. To say you never left covenantal relationship, you’re saying you don’t need Yah’s compassion as you were quite able to do it on your own. I do not believe this, as this is not Torah. Judah needs her Messiah. There is only ONE way of salvation. To say otherwise is to trample underfoot the blood of the Messiah. Messiah is what the Torah is all about. Messiah, (Yahusha of Nazareth) IS Torah. Matthew 13:54- “And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their congregation, so that they were astonished and said, ‘Where did this One get this wisdom and miracles? Is this not the son of the carpenter?….And they stumbled at Him. (just as they stumbled at the foundation stone, who is also Yahusha) But Yahusha said to them, “A prophet is not unappreciated except in his own country and in his own house.” And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.” In the House of Judah (His house) and in Israel (His country) today, the Messiah of the Tribe of Judah is certainly, for the most part, unappreciated. Kol HaTor rejects protelyzing Jews and yet continually speaks of conversion of anyone else to Judaism as a necessary process for peace and reconciliation. Yet, one of its precepts supposedly is not to make Ephraim deny their Messiah, yet what does full conversion do? I think they are speaking out of both sides of their mouth – or maybe with a forked tongue? On Page 3 of Reconciliation Guidelines, last paragraph, “Accordingly, there truly seems to be no reason whatsoever for Jews to relinquish their Jewish Faith as it is the Prodigal Son who has to return to his heritage which had been retained by the faithful remaining son, …..” They’re right. Jews should not relinquish, for the most part, their Jewish Faith. But there is more to the Prodigal Son – especially the elder brother. It is true that the Jews have much, much truth that should not be relinquished. That is not to say they have it all. They don’t. Neither should they feel they have to relinquish their “Jewishness” to believe in their Jewish Messiah. For He is Jewish (in the flesh) and Israel is His people/His inheritance. The church (Ephraim) has distorted much, misunderstood much, yes, is full of paganism and needs to know all the truth. But that is not to say they have no truth at all. Let’s look at the elder son of Prodigal fame a little closer and in a slightly different way. “Now the older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, “Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.” But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, “Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.” And he said to him, “Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.” Luke 15: 25-32 The elder brother was in the field. The field is the world. (Matthew 13:38) Although he stayed at home, his heart was not close to his father’s. It seemed he had a deep-seated resentment towards his father, which these circumstances brought out. Inside, where the father and the returned, repentant son were, there was rejoicing and celebrating and light – but the elder son refused to be a part of it. He stayed outside in the darkness. The elder son was not happy to see his brother return. He was angry. He was jealous. His loving father left the celebration and His joy to come out and try to reason with His elder son, whom He loved just as much. If the elder son had truly loved his father, he would have rejoiced that his Father’s grief over his lost son was over and he could be happy again. However, it seems he thought only of himself. He would not even associate or identify with his younger brother. He called him “this son of Yours.” He didn’t want him to come home. (See anything here?) He did not show respect (therefore, love) to his father by the way he addressed him. In that culture, authority, especially one’s father, was greatly respected. However, the elder son did not use his father’s name or title, just “Look, I have been serving you these many years….” (I don’t have to listen to You, but You have to listen to me. Sound familiar?) Arrogance is also seen where he states he has never transgressed any of his Father’s commandments. This would be impossible – according to Torah and according to the attitude he is now showing, which had been there, although hidden, all along. He had a fasade of righteousness and obedience, but his heart was not in it. He had given only lip service. “Hypocrites! Isaiah rightly prophesied about you, saying, ‘This people respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me (in the field). But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.” (Matthew 15:8,9) “And Yah says, ‘Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught!” (Isaiah 29:13) “Judah, also, did not guard the commands of Yah their Elohim, but walked in the laws of Israel which they made.” (2Kings 17:19) Is the elder brother really the faithful, loving, obedient son so many try to make him out to be? It seems there is another side to him. He stated he had never been able to make merry with his friends. Notice, the elder brother would not have included the Father or his younger brother in his celebration – only his friends; those who agreed with him, thought like him, those who saw things his way. Yes, regrettably, the elder son does represent the Rabbi’s attitude toward his returning brother and his Father. Kol HaTor makes this clear. We’re never told how it ends. Does the elder brother finally go in, reconciling with his brother AND his father? Or does he turn in anger, not wanting reconciliation except on his terms and go back out into the field (world)? Everyone hearing the parable writes their own ending based on how they respond to the kindness of the Father toward sinners. Messiah was telling this parable to the Pharisees. What ending did they write? Shockingly, the elder brother kills the father. (A Tale of Two Sons by John MacArthur) The Pharisee’s hatred for Yahusha grew from the day he told them the parable until they hatched a conspiracy to kill Him. “And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by trickery and put Him to death.” Mark 14:1 With the grudging cooperation of the Roman authorities, they had Him crucified. This pattern of the Rabbi’s (or in this case Judah’s) lack of concern for his Father is seen in Genesis 38. Right after speaking of Jacob’s inconsolable grief over his younger son, Joseph, whom Judah had a large part to do with, Judah left and went with his ‘friend’. Interesting – no seeming concern for his Father and obviously, none for his brother – his emphasis was on his friend. This attitude is repeated in the elder son of the Prodigal Son parable. Also note, that had the elder brother truly loved his Father, he would have gone after his brother and tried to reason with him and bring him back, don’t you think? Not only did he not do this, he was angry when he did come back. The elder brother may have even had something to do with his leaving in the first place, as elder brothers had great influence. But this was not the end of the story. Messiah’s death and resurrection secured for us what the blood of bulls and goats never could. Sometimes, mankind’s worst will accomplish Yah’s best. The Prodigal Son could also be directing us back to Genesis (to know the end we must go back to the beginning). Consider this: Joseph was wandering in the field. (Genesis 37:15,16 – He was looking for his brothers.) They (his brothers) saw him at a distance and before he drew near they plotted to kill him (Genesis 37:18) Stripped him of his robe and threw him into a pit (Genesis 37:23-24) Sat down to eat a meal. (Genesis 37:25) Conspiracy against their brother as he was coming to them. (Genesis 37:20) All brothers, to include Judah, angry, resentful of Father and brother (Genesis 37:4) Killed a goat to dip their brother’s robe in its blood. (Genesis 37:31-32) Judah turned aside to his friend, leaving his family. (Genesis 38:1) Father unable to be comforted, overcome with grief over lost, younger son, thought dead – Father’s grief (Genesis 37:33-35) I. Father pleaded with elder brother over younger brother who was lost and is found, dead and is alive – must rejoice/celebrate – Father’s joy (Luke 15:32) Never able to rejoice with my friends. (Luke 15:29) Served you many years – no goat given to me. (Luke 15:29) Angry with Father and brother – would not be a part of family celebration. (Luke 15:28) Music and dancing, celebration over returning son – Joy! (Luke 15:23-25) Killed the fatted calf (feast/ate) (Luke 15:23) Bring out the best robe and put it on him. (Luke 15:22) While still a long way off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion. (Luke 15:20) Now the elder son was in the field. (Luke 15:25) Real life in Genesis 38 (He was only about himself. He was not concerned for his brother.) This highlights the difference in the attitude of Abba towards returning Ephraim as compared with his brother, Judah. Whether our brother accepts us or not, our Abba does and He is really the only One who counts. If we’re right with Yah, we’ll be right with others too. “I have clearly heard Ephraim lamenting, ‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised, like an untrained calf. Turn me back, and I shall turn back, for You are Yah my Elohim. For after my turning back, I repented. And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh. I was ashamed, even humiliated, for I bore the reproach of my youth.’ (younger son?) Is Ephraim a precious son to Me, a child of delights? For though I spoke against him, I still remembered him. That is why My affections were deeply moved for him. I have great compassion for him,” declares Yah.” Jeremiah 31:18-20 --------- Joseph, in many ways is a picture of our Messiah. But, as there are many double applications of scripture where they apply both to the Messiah and to Israel, I believe it also applies here. First of all, this story illustrates the two-sides of salvation. Joseph, representing the Messiah, had/was the bread of life. In order to live, all had to come to him to receive this bread. When his brothers came, their silver (money) was put back into their bags, illustrating their salvation was priceless and could not be bought; there was absolutely nothing they could do to earn it. On the other hand, the Egyptians had to give everything they had – their money, flocks and herds, lands and even themselves. “…you are not your own….you are bought with a price…” 1 Corth. 6:19,20 We have to give our very hearts and lives, to the Master if we truly believe and obey. Even though seeming opposites, each view is necessary for true believers. We cannot buy our salvation with silver and gold or our good works or Torah observance, but we must be willing to give everything we have, including our very lives. We must put Him first, for where our treasure is, there our hearts will be also. We cannot serve two Masters. But whereas, Joseph is a picture of the Messiah, he is also a picture of Israel going into exile “in order to preserve life”. Is he also a picture of the younger brother? He told his brothers, “You intended evil against me, but Elohim intended it for good, in order to do it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive.” Genesis 50:20 Has this not still been our mission as Ephraim – to bring the Bread of Life to the nations of the world and be a place of refuge for our brothers? This life is in the Messiah, He is the Bread of Life. We, as Joseph, have preserved and proclaimed the knowledge of the Messiah out among the nations, bringing life to those who will accept it. Again a man had two sons, “and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ And he answering, said, “I do not want to, but afterwards he repented and went. And having come to the second, he said similarly. And he answering, said, ‘I go, master,’ but he did not go. Which of the two did the desire of the father?” Matthew 21:28- The Prodigal Son can be seen in the first of these sons – at first rebellious but then repentant – and grateful, therefore obedient. The second son is the elder son – seeming to others to be righteous but actually just as rebellious as the younger; in other words, a hypocrite. Who did Yahusah call hypocrites?! Yes, the Torah is the Messiah and the Messiah is the Torah. In order to secure our salvation, He had to become flesh, like as we are. He had to suffer, bleed, die and rise again as a man, conquering death and the grave, the last enemies, which only El could do. He will also re-gather His sheep into one fold. He has spoken it. He will do it. He had to perfectly live out the written Torah – something no mere man could do, no matter how righteous and humble. “Righteousness is reckoned to those of us who believe in Him Who raised up Yahusha our Master from the dead, who was delivered up because of our trespasses, and was raised for us to be declared right.” Romans 4:24-25 The Written Word (Torah) could not sympathize with us, understanding what we go through (as does our High Priest, our Messiah). The Written Word (Torah) was the means for us to understand and recognize sin, ourselves and our need for the Messiah. The Torah was given as a means to an end or goal. “The end or goal” is Messiah, the Torah made flesh Who dwelt (tabernacled) among us and showed us the way. The Torah without the Messiah is nothing but legalism, man’s attempts to be righteous and please El in his own power and goodness, which cannot be done. “There is none righteous; no, not one.” “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of El.” Romans 3:10,22,23 The Messiah without Torah is a false Messiah, of which we are warned over and over. To know the Messiah, one must know Torah, for that is Who He is. But the Torah without Messiah is as lifeless (and pointless and without purpose) as a Messiah without the Torah -- as the purpose/point of the Written Torah is to lead us to the Messiah (the Living Torah) Who gives us eternal life. You truly cannot have one without the other. “Joseph” went ahead into exile to preserve life with the “Bread of Life”, which cannot be bought but to Whom we must give our all. Romans 3:24 “being declared right, without paying, by His favour through the redemption which is in Messiah Yahusha, Whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before.” As a picture of Messiah, Joseph’s brothers were reconciled by recognizing who he was (belief in his blood as their brother). Joseph (“in his tolerance .. passed over what had taken place before at their hands.”) When we believe in, accept and obey Yahusha as our Messiah, recognizing our sins and admitting we are sinners, then we are forgiven. Regarding elder and younger sons: Yes, the younger son rebelled against his father and went off into the world after his own pleasures, other gods, etc. (later to repent and come home); but in the picture of Joseph, (younger brother) when he was wandering in the field (the world), he was looking for his brothers, sent by his father (was this a different occasion, after coming home and then being sent in obedience back out into the world to look for his brothers? See Jacob’s blessing over Joseph in Genesis 48:22 and 49:22-26.) Is this the ending to the Prodigal Son? Is this where we are now? The elder son, angry went back out into the world. The younger son was sent by the Father to find him. In obedience, he went. (It seems there is a greater love in the younger brother for his elder brother than you find in the elder brother for the younger.) He was persecuted by the older brother when he found him. It took the older brother finally recognizing his younger brother and coming to him for reconciliation and unity to take place. Genesis 44:18-34 “And Judah came near to him (Joseph) and said….” Jeremiah 3:18 “In those days the house of Judah shall go to the house of Israel and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers.” Presently, Joseph is looking for his brothers…… RECONCILIATION GUIDELINES for 10-Tribers UPDATED “Key Action Points” (page 1) “They also show just how far the belief-system that we inherited as vain tradition from our father, is divorced from the truths of Scripture.” (Page 2) This is definitely true of Ephraim, as we can see in many different aspects of just where we have come from. Jeremiah 16:19 “Oh Yah, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.” 1Peter 1:18 “knowing that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes, who through Him believe in Elohim who raised Him from the dead and gave Him esteem, so that your belief and expectation are in ‘Elohim.” However, this also applies to Judah, (more appropriately, the Pharisees/Rabbi’s) in spite of what Kol HaTor believes/states. Mark 7:6-8, 9-13 “And He answering, said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it has been written, ‘This people respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. (elder son with heart in the world (in the field)?) And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men. Forsaking the command of Elohim, you hold fast the tradition of men.” (Rabbinic teachings) And He said to them, ‘Well do you set aside the command of Elohim, in order to guard your tradition…….. v.13 “nullifying the Word of Elohim through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such traditions you do.” 2Kings 17:19 “Judah, also, did not guard the commands of Yah their Elohim, but walked in the laws of Israel which they made.” Isaiah 29:13 “And Yah says, ‘Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me. And their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught.” (elder son of Prodigal fame?) Isaiah 30:8-11 “And go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it on a scroll, that it is for a latter day, a witness forever: that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who refuse to hear the Torah of Yah, Who say to the seers, ‘Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right. Speak to us what is smooth, prophesy deceits. Turn aside from the way, swerve from the path, cause the Set-apart One of Israel to cease from before us.” Kol HaTor asks us never to speak of the Messiah. (Unifying Factors, pg 3; Reconciliation Guidelines, pg 2; pg 10) This is the same as to “cause the Set-apart One of Israel to cease from before us.” A latter day rebellious people applies to both houses. Ephraym refuses to hear the Torah. Judah causes the Set-Apart One of Israel to cease from before us. Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her! How often I wished to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you would not!” On page 2 of Reconciliation Guidelines Updated, Kol HaTor states, “He (Messiah) came to reconcile Lost Ten Tribers who, since 2800 years ago, had been cut off from the Covenant because of their forsaking of Torah”(We have seen that Judah has done this also) “rejecting the appointed guardians of Torah (Not proven in Scripture, in fact Scripture states that the anointing which you have received will lead you into all Truth and you have no need that any man should teach you.” 1John 2:26,27) and rebelling against the House of David (We earlier saw Judah’s part in this rebellion against not the House of David but more importantly rebellion against Yah and the fact that the nation divided was Yah’s doing.) They go on to state: “He (Messiah) did not come for the House of Judah, who had not been cut off from Covenant relationship and who needs to practice ongoing teshuvah only.” We have seen from the Scriptures how untrue this statement is. John 7:19 “Did not Moses give you the Torah? Yet not one of you does the Torah! Why do you seek to kill Me.?” Matthew 23:28 “So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.” (Torahlessness) Matthew 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’ Acts 7:51-53 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Set-apart Spirit, as your fathers did, you also do. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, who received the Torah as it was ordained by messengers, but did not watch over it.” Galatians 6:13 “For those who are circumcised do not even watch over the Torah, but they wish to have you circumcised so that they might boast in your flesh.” (Isn’t this what we see in Kol haTor?) Romans 2:27-29 “And the uncircumcised by nature, who perfects the Torah, shall judge you who notwithstanding letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the Torah! For he is not a Jew who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But a Jew is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.” “Jeremiah 4:4 “Circumcise yourselves unto Yah, and take away the foreskins of your hearts, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest My wrath come forth like fire and burn, with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.” Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Master Yah, is upon Me, because Yah has anointed Me to bring good news to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of Yah, and the day of vengeance of our Elohim, to comfort all who mourn, to appoint unto those who mourn in Zion: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called trees of righteousness, a planting of Yah, to be adorned.” Messiah quotes this passage, referring to Himself in Luke 4:18-21. Are there no broken-hearted in Judah; no captives of any form; none bound or in prison, none that need comfort; none that desire embellishment from Yah or would not want the oil of joy instead of mourning; a spirit of praise rather than a spirit of heaviness? Has Judah kept the Covenant so perfectly that these things are not an issue to them; they don’t need this? According to Kol HaTor and/or the Rabbi’s seemingly so. Why not talk to Judah instead of the Rabbi’s? But if He did not come for the House of Judah, then these things cannot apply to Judah. How sad for them. But fortunately, how untrue. Page 2, Kol HaTor states that Proselytizing or missionizing the Jews is contrary to the will of Yah. “Salvation is of the Jews.” Salvation is of the Jews because the Messiah came in the flesh according to the Tribe of Judah. He came for all men – including Judah and even for the Rabbi’s. “Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often I longed to gather you to Myself….but you would not.” The Apostolic Writings say NOT to follow what the Rabbi/Pharisee’s do. The translation there actually states that since the Pharisees sit in the seat of Moses (representing his authority), do what MOSES says to do – not them. And as far as their teachings on Halachah or Jewish law, the Scriptures clearly state we are NOT TO ADD TO THEM. Page 3, Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED – The Ten Tribes are grafted into “true Israel”. True Israel follows the Messiah, not the modern orthodox Rabbinic Judaism. The orthodox Jewish apostles of the early Notzrim congregation who lived and worked in Jerusalem 2000 years ago decreed that returning Ten Tribers should go to the orthodox synagogues to hear and learn Moses, i.e., to hear and learn all of Torah.” This is true - to learn all of Torah, to hear and learn Moses’ words given by the Hand of Yah – not the Rabbi’s. I’m really surprised but pleased that they mention this as they (or their forefathers) threatened the orthodox Jewish apostles of the early Notzrim congregation not to speak in His Name. They had them beaten, arrested and ultimately killed for what they taught. (Acts 4:1-21; Acts 5:17-42; Acts 12: 1-8-11) They did not succeed in wiping out His Name then. And they will not succeed now either. “The Apostolic Writings demonstrate the importance of the traditions and customs of the Jewish people for those of us returning to Yah from among the nations.” Matthew 15:3, 6 “But He answering, said to them, ‘Why do you also transgress the command of Elohim because of your tradition?” “…So you have nullified the command of Elohim by your tradition.” Colossians 2:8 “See to it that no one makes a prey of you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary matters of the world, and not according to Messiah.” Galatians 1:14 “And I progressed in Judaism beyond many of my age in my race, being more exceedingly ardent for the tradition of my fathers.” Galatians 1:10- “…For if I still pleased men, I should not be a servant of Messiah.” And I make known to you, brothers, that the Good News announced by me is not according to man.” (Rabbinic authority/traditions). “For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but through a revelation of Yahusha Messiah.” Messiah teaches us today too – if we let Him by removing anything or anyone that stands between us. (1John 2:27) Kol HaTor states we must come back to the Rabbi’s to learn, yet they can’t see or refuse to see the Messiah. They state the Scriptures give them this authority. Let’s see if this is true. “And Yahusha came up and spoke to them, saying, “ALL authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18 All authority has been given to Who? I don’t see Rabbi mentioned anywhere. But what do the Rabbi’s say? ‘Not from heaven. Yah must listen to us. We have the authority and if you don’t accept it, acknowledge it, go under it, you are in rebellion against Yah’s authority? Says who? Certainly not Yah. “Yahusha said these words, and lifted up His eyes to the heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come. Esteem Your Son, so that Your Son also might esteem You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give everlasting life to all whom You have given Him.” John 17:1-2 The Father loves the Son, and has given all into His hand. John 3:35 Where in all this do you see that Yah gave the Rabbi’s (or any man) total, unquestioned authority? Who was given authority? Yahusha HaMesheiach! In Whom the Rabbi’s do not believe.
