My Answer to Judah's requirements Part III by Fran Regan

‘The Torah is the legitimate culture for the people of Israel.’ Even though only Judah is what is implied here, it also includes Ephraim. Kol HaTor stating that “Ephraim has no historic Torah culture” is incorrect. The Torah was given to us at the same time it was given to Judah - at Mt. Sinai. We have already stated how the split happened. We are coming back (returning). You cannot return to something you never had. It seems Kol HaTor can see ignorance and arrogance in the returning 10-Tribes but not in themselves. There’s plenty to go around. The 10-Tribers have a lot to learn and Judah has done a good job (with Yah’s help) in preserving the Torah but to say we cannot authentically learn Torah except through them is erroneous (and arrogant) as based on what our Messiah has stated (and what our Messiah has done) and what the Apostle Paul (former Pharisee of Pharisees) stated above. They have also had 3,000 years to ‘add to’ and ‘corrupt’. Authenticity is in the Truth – not continuing in error and/or tradition of men. Page 4 ‘Refusing to acknowledge the authority of the Orthodox Rabbis after being shown their legitimate authority from Scripture reveals a deep-seated and pernicious form of anti-Semitism.’ First, I have not been shown scripture that affirms Rabbinic authority. I have rather seen quite the opposite as stated above in Matthew 28:18, John 3:35, John 17:1-2. Also, there is a world of difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Rabbinic, as I’ve stated before. And let me qualify even that. I am not and have never been anti-Semitic. And I am anti-Rabbinic only with reference to their illegitimate authority, anti-Messianic beliefs, adding to El’s Word and not respecting or recognizing the authority of the Most High but feeling that even El must listen to them. I look forward to the day we can be reconciled. But that day will only come when they can finally say, “Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of Yah.” Matthew 23:39 Page 5 Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED ‘One of Judah’s important roles today is to serve as the appointed lawgiver in Israel’ In making that statement, in two of the scripture references given,(Psalms 60:7, 108:8) they do not finish the verse which states that Ephraim is also named as Yah’s chief defense. And in both Isaiah 33:22 and James 4:12, it states, “Yah is our Lawgiver.” In the Genesis 49:10 reference to Judah being the lawgiver, it is in relation to Shiloh (Messiah). “This chief office of religious and civil authority in Israel was delegated to the Rabbis by Yah.” Yah has delegated prophets, priests and kings – none of which were Rabbis. I don’t think He would delegate authority to the “blind” (Matthew 15:14) who “did not know the scriptures” or “the power of El” (Matthew 22:29). Romans 13 speaks of civil authority, (not Rabbinic) whether gentile or other, as El is an El of order. “Those of us from the Ten Tribes who are returning to Torah must become subject to their authority.” Will you serve El or man? Study the Scriptures. “There is One Mediator between El and Man, the Man Yahusha HaMeshiach.”(1Timothy 2:5) “These authorities were ordained and appointed by Yah, and resisting such authorities is equal to resisting His will.” Nothing could be further from the Truth. Be discerning. “See, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16) Page 6 Deuteronomy 17:8-13 refers to the legitimate authority of the Levitical Priesthood, (when in operation) not the Rabbis. As for the “judge”, one cannot be a “judge” of Yah when they reject the Word of Yah. Page 6,7, Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED To say that the Scriptures (both Hebraic and Apostolic) cannot be correctly understood without a working knowledge of the Oral Torah only serves to preserve and try to legitimize the Rabbis’ power. This is blatantly false and would make El a liar, as He has said otherwise. It also leaves open to the Rabbi’s anything they want to refute by simply saying it can only be understood from the Oral Torah (and their interpretation at that). Acts 17:11 tells us” “Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with great eagerness, and searched the Scriptures daily, if these words were so.” Are we just to accept the premise that we cannot understand Scripture without a Rabbi’s guidance? Then why do the Scriptures tell us “to study to show ourselves approved unto El, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (2Tim. 2:15), if we cannot understand without a Rabbi? Why is it noble to search the scriptures if we can’t understand anyway? Or are we to search the Scriptures daily for ourselves to see if what they say is so. That is accepting the authority of the word over the Rabbi’s. But Kol HaTor says we are not capable of that or are being insubordinate to Rabbinic (and therefore Yah’s) authority if we do so. How do you read the scriptures and who is your authority? We are told in Exodus 19:6 and 1 Peter 2:9, that “…we are a kingdom of priests and a set-apart nation…” It is priests who study and proclaim the Word. Messiah has stated “You know that the rulers of the gentiles are masters over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant, even as the Son of Adam did not come to be served, but to serve…” Mathew 20:25-28 This is even brought out clearer in Revelation 2:6 when Messiah says “Yet this you have, that you hate the works of the Nikolaites, which I also hate.” Nikolaites means ‘victory over the people’, victory or control over the people. Messiah says He hates this. It is NOT of Him, so how could Rabbinic authority and power and control over the people be Divinely ordained? Page 7 ‘Only by faithfully observing the Torah and subjecting themselves to Rabbinic guidance in Torah, can they (10-Tribers) ever hope to provoke this prophetic jealousy.” It will be by faithfully observing the Torah and searching the Scriptures for ourselves, subjecting ourselves to Messiah, and relegating the Rabbi’s to irrelevancy that will provoke them to jealousy. Why would coming under their subjection and control evoke jealousy? They’d have us right where they want us. We’ve been disobedient, do we have to be just plain dumb too? Page 7 last paragraph and page 8 first paragraph The Rabbi’s need to heed their own advice here. ‘…practically anything can be ‘supported’ or ’justified’ from Scripture. Therefore, we must work at acknowledging our biases, prejudices, insecurities, and fears in order to seek the truth. This is particularly important since the truth may (and often will) not be in accordance with what we may want it to be.” Ditto Page 8 under “Where Does All of This Lead? 2. “We should be preparing for full conversion under Orthodox Rabbinic supervision.” Again, double-speak, as it was stated under the unifying factors that returning 10-Tribers should not be demanded to denounce their Messiah. What does Orthodox Judaism do? Make you renounce your Messiah. NO, NO, NO a thousand times NO. NEVER DENY YOUR MESSIAH. HE IS THE TORAH. HE IS OUR COVERING – NOT A RABBI! “Do not allow the enemies of faith (fear, doubt, anxieties, and carnal reasoning) to impede or destroy your ability to move forward ….” Faith in who? Rather, how about spiritual discernment, which Ephraim is also capable of with the Spirit of Yah. Coming under Rabbinic authority is NOT moving forward. It’s going back about 3,000 years before the Messiah came to set things straight. Page 9, Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED under ‘Practical Advice” is an attempt at intimidation. Do not be intimidated. Hold fast to what you know is true. They state: ‘…nothing short of complete humility (acknowledging the true position of each in the scheme of things) and meekness (having a truly teachable attitude) will work to achieve the will of Yah in this great reconciliation exercise.’ May I ask, who is it that is determining ‘the true position of each’ and by whose authority? It seems all the reconciling is on Ephraim’s part. It seems all the humility and meekness and acknowledging anything is on Ephraim’s part. Reconciliation is a two-way street; so is humility and meekness and truly recognizing each other’s position. How can one who does not recognize Yah’s authority over them speak of or know Yah’s will? Isn’t it rather their will? Who will you be subject to? Page 10 “Resolutely, unswervingly, and permanently eliminate your need or your desire to teach (or even ‘share’ your understanding with) Judah.” See what I mean?! No, I don’t need validation from the Rabbi’s. I need validation from My Messiah. And again, who do you obey – El or man? What did the Messiah tell us to do? (“Go into all the nations and proclaim…make disciples…teach” Matt. 28:19) What is Kol HaTor trying to tell us to do? Never speak of Him! “…Cause the Set-Apart One of Israel to cease from before us…” (Isaiah 8:11b) Therefore, be disobedient to Him! Who else (in the beginning) tried that and what was its results? Beware! Be discerning! Kol HaTor is trying to assert that the will of the Rabbi’s is the will of El. “Subjugate your desires to conform to the will of Yah. We did not set things up this way. He did.” This is in referenced to our going under Rabbinic authority. This statement is blatantly false as we have seen by the Scriptures over and over again! Not only false, but blasphemous! Page 10 “Put serious effort into understanding how and why Judah sees and does things the way he does. This is an important step in matching our will to the will of the Father.” The will of the Father is not necessarily the will of Judah (or what’s really meant here is not Judah so much as the Rabbis). The Rabbi’s needs to understand us too. Seems all the giving, all the reconciling, all the understanding is on the part of the 10-Tribers – very one-sided. It just goes to show this is not about reconciliation. This is about control. However, what the Rabbi’s need to be about (as well as Ephraim) is their understanding that the will of the Father is not necessarily their will. In connection with this, they are their own worse enemy and certainly an impediment to the reunification process. Page 11, Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED “Do not judge Judah on what you regard as his apparent lack of spirituality. Focus on the plank in your own eye, and ignore the speck in his eye.” Good advice. Needs to go both ways though. “Love for Yah and for His Word is what unifies all of us in Israel.” YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! exactly true. Forget all the other stuff and now you’ve got it!! “We must battle 3000 years worth of arrogance and ignorance all the while realizing that much of the time we do not even recognize our arrogance or our ignorance.” (speaking to us 10-Tribers) True, but Judah (or the Rabbi’s) do not have it all down perfectly either. They have also had 3000 years to ‘add to’ and ‘corrupt’. They also need to realize this and be able to admit where they have been in error. Arrogance is definitely a factor. Arrogance is the opposite of humbleness. You can’t have both. “For thus declares the high and exalted One who dwells forever, whose Name is set-apart, “I dwell in the high and set-apart place, with him who has a bruised and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of bruised ones.” Isaiah 57:15 “…Yet to such a one I look: on him who is poor and bruised of spirit, and who trembles at My Word.” Isaiah 66:2 If one does not feel they have to listen to the Almighty, will they tremble at His Word? How can you speak to Ephraim of their ignorance and arrogance when the Rabbi’s actually believe ‘not from heaven’ and ‘incline to the majority’? To believe that El has to listen to and be obedient to them is the ultimate height of arrogance and in my mind disqualifies them from teaching His Word. Kol HaTor just stated that humbleness and meekness was needed for a teachable spirit. Where is their’s? Page 12, Reconciliation Guidelines, UPDATED The ‘pearls’ of the Word of El are for all people – not just Judah and/or the Rabbis. And I thank my Elohim that neither Rabbi’s, nor priests nor any other man is needed to obtain them. Only a belief and love and desire for Yashusha HaMeshiach, the Nazarene and His Word, His Truth is needed. He gives/sends His Spirit to teach those that believe in Him, ask and obey. (1John 2:27) And He is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34,35) Again, “….he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.” Can the Rabbi’s fear the One they don’t feel they have to listen to? Think about this: If the Rabbi’s do not believe in Yahusha, then they are obviously not obedient. If they are not obedient, they obviously do not have His Spirit. (Acts 5:32 “And we are His witnesses to these matters, and so also is the Set-apart Spirit whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.”) “For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.’ Romans 8:14 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim…” v16 John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Set-Apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.” John 15:26 “And when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of the Truth, who comes from the Father, He shall bear witness of Me…” If the Rabbi’s do not believe, therefore obey Messiah, how can they have His Spirit? How can one know the Truth without the Spirit of Truth? Of what spirit are they? It can only be the spirit of anti-Messiah. “Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 1John 2:26-27 “I have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray. But that which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is not falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him (Messiah).” “Who is the liar, except the one denying that Yahusha is the Messiah? This is the anti-messiah, the one denying the Father and the Son. No one denying the Son has the Father. The one confessing the Son has the Father as well.” 1John 2:22,23 “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…….but I and my house, we serve Yah.” Joshua 24:15 The Rabbi’s or Yah? Who will you serve? Who will you let have dominion over you? Listen to this prayer by the (orthodox - ?) Apostles Peter and John after being released by the religious authorities: “And having been released, they went to their own and reported all that the chief priests and elders said to them. And having heard that, they lifted up their voice to Elohim with one mind and said, “Yah, You are Elohim, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them, Who by the mouth of Your servant David have said, ‘Why did the gentiles rage, and the people plot in vain? The sovereigns of the earth stood against Yah and against His Messiah. For truly, in this city there were gathered together against Your set-apart Servant Yahusha, whom You anointed, both Herodes and Pontius Pilate, with the gentiles and the people of Israel To do whatever Your hand and Your purpose decided before to be done. And now, Yah, look on their threats, and give to Your servants all boldness to speak Your Word, By stretching out Your hand for healing, and signs and wonders to take place through the Name of Your set-apart Servant Yahusha.” And when they had prayed, the place where they came together was shaken. And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit, and they spoke the Word of Elohim with boldness.” Acts 4:23-31 And Kol HaTor tells us (as did their forefathers) never to speak of our Messiah, to “cause the Set-apart One of Israel to cease from before us” Isaiah 30:11b? Can you not now see who they really are? Do you want to be associated with an organization that espouses the ideas, beliefs, and concepts of this organization? Tell me who you’re walking with and I’ll tell you who YOU are. It is my opinion that Kol HaTor is not good for the Hebraic Roots Movement. IT IS, in fact, A THREAT. Anyone with a belief in and love for Messiah should NOT BE ASSOCIATING WITH OR CONFIRMING KOL HATOR’S VISION AND CONCEPTS all of which (underneath it all) are ANTI-MESSIAH. Kol HaTor -- Voice of the Turtledove We are told to “be wise as serpents but innocent as doves.” Matt. 10:16 “And the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which Yah Elohim had made…” Gen. 3:1 Is it any wonder that the serpent (in his wisdom) speaks with the voice of an innocent dove? “For Satan himself masquerades as a messenger of light!” 2Corth. 11:14 Anything against Messiah is not of Messiah. “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Matt 12:30 Based on Matthew 12:30, above, if Kol HaTor’s purpose, as they state, is to gather the 2 houses together in the land, they are destined to fail. They readily admit they do not recognize Messiah, therefore they are not gathering with Him. If not gathering with Him, they will be causing division and scattering us further, based on the words of Messiah Himself. They are not truly of the spirit of reconciliation. They are about control. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing setting themselves up to prey on Yah’s flock. They have been exposed. They are not qualified for this work. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Kol haTor – a serpent disguised in the voice of a dove! Once again, let’s look at the ‘Vision’ of Kol HaTor: Re-unification of the 2-Houses of Israel without proselytizing The Kol HaTor Vision recognizes the great Stumbling Block that evangelizing of Jews presents in the Reconciliation Process between Judah and Messianic 10-Israel and the extensive damage done to the Jewish people over the centuries by attempts to convert them to Christianity. Kol HaTor, as a representative Voice of Returning 10-Israel, does not support any of these missionary activities, either historically or currently. Kol HaTor associates declare their commitment not to proselytize Jews, or to influence Jews in any way whatsoever to abandon their historic and correct faith. Rather, Kol Ha Tor strives to influence re-identifying 10-Tribers to return to their Hebraic Roots of the Original One True Faith, to Torah and to Jewish Halachah and Rabbinic authority. ANSWER TO THE VISION Just as the representatives of Judah in the Kol HaTor project apologized for their failures, Christianity should too. There were many atrocities done in the name of Christianity. Whether the ones who ordered such things or the ones who carried them out were truly believers in Messiah who can judge? However, we are known by our works. And these certainly were not the works of Messiah. What is in the past cannot be changed as much as we’d like to. We can only hopefully learn from our mistakes and move forward. But that does not change the Truth of Messiah and His commission to make the Besorah known throughout the world. It just shows HaSatan’s hand in trying to stop it. Christianity’s ‘Jesus’ is a false Messiah. Yahusha was Jewish. He kept Sabbath, kosher, and all the feasts of Yah. He kept ALL of Yah’s commands. In fact, He WAS Torah! So to present the ‘Jesus’ of Christianity is to present a false Messiah. Therefore, to agree not to present a false Messiah, should certainly be agreed to. However, not to present the true Messiah, or to agree not to even speak of Messiah Yahusah at all – is not acceptable. The ones founding this organization from the 10 Tribes should know better and be ashamed of themselves. There are certain things that cannot AT ANY COST be compromised. OUR MESSIAH IS THE MAIN ONE. If Messiah is not a part of the movement, then neither should anyone who claims to have a belief in Him. How can you call yourself Messianic ten-Israel and agree to leave out the Messiah? Is reunification with your brothers more important to you than your Messiah? Then you don’t truly love your Messiah. Or maybe He isn’t truly your Messiah at all. Albeit, if that is the case, you do NOT represent the returning 10-Tribes. He said He was a stumbling block to both the houses of Israel. His Words are always true. Is that a reason to quit speaking of Him? To speak of the true Messiah is not to influence the Jewish people to abandon their historic and correct faith. The faith is only correct if it includes Messiah – which is Who it is all about. “Rather, Kol Ha Tor strives to influence re-identifying 10-Tribers to return to their Hebraic Roots of the Original One True Faith, to Torah and to Jewish Halachah and Rabbinic authority.” To return to our roots is to recognize and return to Messiah Yahusha, the root and offspring of David. He is the One who stated, “…and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.” He is the good Shepherd. Jewish Halachah and Rabbinic authority is as wrong as the false Messiah. Our authority is in Messiah Yahusha – not a man. Don’t take one wrong and make it two. “Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of Elohim: Every spirit that confesses that Yahusha Messiah has come in the flesh is of Elohim, and every spirit that does not confess that Yahusha Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Elohim. And this is the spirit of the anti-messiah which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.” For those who truly love and follow Messiah Yahusha, what more needs to be said.
