The Booth of Elohim pt 3
09/18/2010
Names embody the character of a person. Just like we do not have any say on when we are born, to whom we are born, the circumstances into which we are born, or even the fact that we ARE born, neither do we have a say in our name. Yah, as our Creator, and in His foreknowledge and omniscience, knows us better than we know ourselves, and as such, uses us to accomplish His will –whether for good or evil. Yah creates evil, too. (Isaiah 45:6c,7 “I am Yah and there is none else, forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil, I, Yah, do all these.’”) He makes vessels of honor and vessels for wrath. He raised up Pharaoh and hardened his heart to show His power and make known His Name in all the earth. (Romans 9:17-26; 2Timothy 2:20-21; 2 Corinthians 4:7-18)
Many times, today, our names do not really mean anything. However, I believe Yah has named us all Himself, according to His knowledge of us, His purpose and design for us. Someday, we will know our true name. [1Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know, as I also have been known.” Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”] Below are the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb – each is one of the 12 foundations of the renewed Jerusalem; also included are the twelve Tribes/sons of Israel, their names and their blessings based on who they are, therefore their destiny. They are the 12 gates of a single pearl in the renewed Jerusalem, --- one of which we must pass through to enter. When you think of each person or tribe, with their position or location in the renewed Jerusalem (the 12 gates or the 12 foundations), what is it that you see? How does this build the Booth of Elohim? Boiling like water, you do not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then you defined it – he went up to my couch. Reuben: Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few. [Could Reuben be a picture of Israel as Yah’s firstborn. What did Israel do? He committed spiritual adultery with/went whoring after other gods. Israel defied the authority of his Father. But Yah has said Israel will live and not die.] Judah: “You, Judah, your brothers praise you; your hand is on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children bow down before you. Judah is a lion’s cub; from the prey you have gone up, my son! He bowed down, he crouched like a lion. And like a lion, who does rouse him? The scepter shall not turn aside from Judah, nor a Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples. Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he washed his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.” Judah: “…Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.” “and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – “ “His eyes were as a flame of fire,” Rev. 19:12 Levi: Shimon and Levi are brothers, their weapons are implements of violence. Let my being not enter their council, let my esteem not be united to their assembly; because they slew a man in their displeasure, and they lamed an ox in pleasure. Cursed be their displeasure for it is fierce, and their wrath for it is cruel! I divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.” Levi: “Let thy Thummin and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah; Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel, thy law: and they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar. Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.” Benyamin: “Benyamin is a wolf that tears, in the morning he eats prey, and at night he divides the spoil.” Benyamin” “..The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between His shoulders.” Joseph: Yospeh is an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree, an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree by a fountain his branches run over a wall. And the archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob – from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel – From the El of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yoseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers. Joseph: “…Blessed of Yah is his land, with the choicest from the heavens, with the dew, and the deep lying beneath, With the choice fruits brought forth by the sun with the choice yield of the months, With the finest of the ancient mountains and with the choicest for the everlasting hills, And for the choicest of the earth and all that fills it, and of the good will of Him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.” Zebulun: Zebulun dwells at the seashore, he is for a haven for ships, and his border is unto Tsidon.” Zebulun: “.. Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and Issachar, in thy tents,…” They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.” Issachar: “Issachar is a strong donkey lying down between two burdens, And he saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant, and he inclined his shoulder to bear a burden, and became a subject to slave labor.” Issachar: (above) Gad: Gad, a raiding band raids him, but he raids its heel. Gad: “…Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel. Dan: Dan rightly rules his people as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan is a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, that bites the horses’ heels so that its rider falls backward. I have waited for your deliverance, O Yah! Dan: “… Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan. Naphtali: Naphtali is a deer let loose, he gives words of elegance.” Naphtali: “.. O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.” Asher: Bread from Asher is rich, and he gives delicacies of a sovereign.” Asher: “Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be." What do you see?
